Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) is a technology standard based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) that does not require an internal power source to function and can transmit information wirelessly over longer distances (approx. 1-2 meters).

UHF offers bulk recognition of tagged items without the need to scan each individual item separately. The scanning performance varies by label size, item packaging and item content, as well as scanning antenna size and orientation.

The first release of the LANEXO™ System supports only NFC. The UHF communication is included in our roadmap for future development.
